SECCAP Merit List 2026: How to Check Your College Admission

The Sindh Electronic Centralized College Admission Program has announced its SECCAP Merit List 2026 today, confirming Class XI (1st Year) admissions for government colleges across Sindh for the 2026–27 academic session.

What Is SECCAP

The Sindh Electronic Centralized College Admission Program (SECCAP) is the official online system, managed by the Sindh Education and Literacy Department, that handles Class XI (1st Year) admissions into government colleges across the province. Instead of applying separately to each college, students submit one centralized application and are matched to a college based on their Matric marks, preferences, and quota eligibility.

Registration for the 2026–27 session ran from June 1 to July 15, 2026, and today's merit list announcement is the result of that process.

How to Check Your SECCAP Result

1. Go to the official portal at seccap.dgcs.gos.pk.
2. Click on "Check Status" or the Merit List / Selected Candidates section.
3. Enter your CNIC or B-Form number.
4. Enter your Matric Roll Number and select your passing year.
5. Submit to view your allotted college, group, and shift (Morning/Evening).

If Something's Wrong: The Claim Form Process

If your name doesn't appear in the merit list, or you feel you were allotted the wrong college despite meeting the criteria for a better one, SECCAP allows you to file a claim.

1. Visit the SECCAP portal and locate the Claim Form section.
2. Enter your Form Number, CNIC, and a clear reason for your claim.
3. Submit within 5–7 days of the merit list announcement — this window is strict, so don't delay if you plan to file a claim.

After Admission Is Confirmed

Once your admission is finalized, SECCAP also allows you to download a Digital College ID Card through the portal. This serves as official proof of your allocation and is commonly needed during orientation, on your first day at college, or for any correction requests through the SECCAP help desk.

Final Thoughts

If your name is on today's list, don't treat it as the finish line — the confirmation steps (verification, slip download, and fee payment) are just as important as the merit list itself, and missing the deadline can cost you the seat entirely.
